I am Certified!!!

Well after lots of reading, and time watching computer Web Classes and doing lots of projects I did it: I am Now Certified to help you learn how to use My Digital Studio. What does this mean, well it means that you can make Awesome scrap book pages, cards, calender anything that you can think of with one computer program! Imagine doing a Christmas book for the family, and you have to do 3 of them-with this program you can sit down and create a fabulous book with pictures and music, then off to the printer it goes, and each family member will get one sent to them. How easy is that! I love this program and it is very user friendly. If you have any questions and would like to see this program at work, please call me and we shall set up a date. Thanks for visiting my site today.

The Denver Experience

The other day when I was posting cards I forgot a card I made for some friends who have a small farm out east of town. I love the look on this card it is very country and well the colors worked well together. All supplies on this card are Stampin' UP.
Just a reminder to anyone interested the new Mini Catalog for Stampin' UP will be coming out soon so if you would like one please contact me and I will make sure you are on the mailing list. I did get to preview it and well, it is by far the BEST ONE yet!!

So saturday me, Christy, Cathy and Kim went to Denver to a Stampin' Event-after a late start, my fault and many cups of coffee we made it. We did learn some new tricks, got to see some great idea, and the best part is I got to see Kim speak to the public-She is a riot. Yes we did do some goofing off. This was the first time I had ever been to an event like this- now mind you we did not stay for the whole thing (Colorado weather was a changing) I got some great ideas for future project'

The ladies! A quick break while setting up the table of projects that Kim, Christy and Cathy have made. Cathy making the table look pretty! Thank you ladies for a fun Saturday!

A Day with Paper

I finally got a day off of work and spent the whole day and into the night playing with paper. I did "borrow" ideas from various sites that I visit and then changed up some stuff. One site that I just love is Beauty Lies Within-Mary Jo has so much talent and her work always look FABULOUS!!-Then for the Bloomin' Blues Card I did a new technique (for me) Cracked Glass! I made this card for my friends birthday- She to is a Master of the Art of Stamping so it is very intimidating to make something for her so I do hope she likes it. Then as I watched the 5 p.m. news I learned that the is changing and well I made some fall cards- and a graduation card. As I sit here and type this up I realize that aside from laundry I had a most perfect day-a day in my stamp room doing weather what I love. So here are the pictures of what I created today and I hope you like them-but please remember that all the ideas were "borrowed"- And yes all products are Stampin' UP!

Thank you

Playing with Shimmer Paint

Well as I was trying to figure out some cards to make for my work family-I kept starring at my shimmer paint thinking "what can I do with this" then I remembered a technique my friend Kim taut me - so this is the card I created I hope you like.
All supplies Stampin' UP-
Paper used was: Naturals White (102310)
Bravo Burgundy (105123)
I took the filigree stamp from the Friends 24-7 (113218) -this step is the fun part- take 2-3 drops of Bravo Burgundy ink refill (105226) an add about 4-5 drops of Shimmer paint- I used Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (116806)-then I painted this mixture onto the stamp and stamped randomly to the Bravo Burgundy. I did this same technique to the flower stem from Bloomin' Beautiful stamp set (111490)- I did stamp this image over the filigree stamp that was done with VersaMark (102283) this was for added dimension. After layering the card to my liking I added some ribbon - Organza Ribbon (114319) . Then just add a sentiment of your choice. I hope you like this card.
