A Day of Creating

Well things have been crazy around here-I am getting ready for Stamps for the Cure. This is our yearly fund raiser for the Susan G. Komen Foundation; the ladies in my up line and I all get together and spend a day with all our old friends and the new ones we make, making cards. This year we added a night event Crop Till You Drop-so that you can bring your scrap booking stuff and get some of those pages done! This event is on:

Date: October 3, 2009

Time: 9 am - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

the Crop starts at 6:30 p.m. until you can not do it anymore!

Place: The Candlewood Suites - located on North Academy Blvd. - Colorado Springs Co

Cost: $20 for the Card making sessions and $30 for both the card making and scrap booking

We will also have a silent auction and lots of fun - all proceeds go to Susan G. Komen. I look forward to seeing you there!

Now what else have I been up to-well I have creating some things...I made a birthday card for my friend and one for my sister in law.

All supplies for these projects are Stampin' UP! The card uses the stamp set Country Morning (level one hostess set-Not Quite Navy card stock-Very Vanilla card stock-Bella Bleu DSP (113974)-Water color paper (105019)-Various colors of Water Color Crayons-the ribbon was was from the Ribbon Originals Elementary (116231)-and some Linen Thread (104199)-

I did this canvas for a good friend of mine-the colors are retired however it is her granddaughter so I am posting it!

Its Digital Time!!!

Well after spending countless hours trying to learn how to use a computer, I have started a new challenge, My Digital Studio from Stampin' UP. This software allows me the user to create scrap book pages and albums using all the same supplies that Stampin' UP has to offer. I was scared at first and had to delete a lot of pages-but after some time I am starting to get it. This software will be available to the public October 1st.
